RAFSpitfire Imagine 3.0 object and project drawer. Copyright ©1994 Graham Dean. What is it? ~~~~~~~~~~~ The archive contains an Imagine 3.0 (Imagine 2.0 details below) object of a WWII spitfire in RAF colours and camouflage. Two example pictures are included (for AGA and non-AGA) to give you an indication what it looks like, without the hassle of having to render it. The object was rendered with an A1200 with 6Meg RAM, it may render in 4Meg, but I am not sure. Brief description of the files in the archive ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spitfire.HAM6 : A 320x512 HAM6 render for all non-AGA machines Spitfire.HAM8 : A 640x512 HAM8 render for AGA machines Spitfire.imp Objects Forms : A drawer containing all the original forms Ground : The ground used for the render Spitfire : The actual Imagine 3.0 spitfire object staging : Imagine 3.0 staging file Wraps : Drawer containing the IFF brush wraps used for the RAF markings on the aircraft How to use it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To be render the spitfire scene (same as the pictures) you will need to copy the Spitfire.imp drawer into a drawer called projects within your Imagine directory. If you wish to place the Spitfire.imp drawer elsewhere, you will need to alter the path names for the brush wraps, to render the main object and you will need to alter path names from the action editor to render the scene. If you own Imagine 2.0 then you will be able to render the object, but it will not have any brush wraps or textures and the staging will be wrong. You may wish to load the object itself into the detail editor and add the camo texture to the BODY-UPPER object, as this will give a reasonable object to render. The settings for the camo texture I used are as follows: 420.0 Spot spacing 0.0 Random seed 200.0 RGB red #1 155.0 RGB green #1 98.0 RGB blue #1 146.0 RGB red #2 127.0 RGB green #2 98.0 RGB blue #2 200.0 RGB red #3 155.0 RGB green #3 98.0 RGB blue #3 146.0 RGB red #4 127.0 RGB green #4 98.0 RGB blue #4 4.0 # of colours 0.875 Spot area Copying and distribution details ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Permission is granted to make and distribute verbatim copies of this manual provided the copyright notice and this permission notice are preserved on all copies.
